Efficient Residential Insulation Services

If your home feels drafty or your energy bills keep climbing, the problem might be your insulation. Whether you live in an older home or a newly built one, poor insulation can make it harder to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature. Your HVAC system ends up working overtime, costing you more every month. At ProInsulate, we specialize in helping homeowners across Edmonton and surrounding areas improve their comfort and lower their energy costs with high-quality residential insulation solutions.

Many homes—especially newer builds—were only insulated to meet minimum building code requirements. But what was considered "good enough" years ago may not cut it today, especially in Alberta's extreme climate. Our team uses advanced insulation materials and techniques, including spray foam and blown-in insulation, to help you boost your home's energy efficiency, reduce noise, prevent drafts, and even increase your property value.

  • Upgrading your home insulation offers more than just warmth in the winter. It delivers lasting value you'll feel every day.

Residential Insulation FAQs

  • Spray foam insulation isn’t fire resistant on its own, but it can be treated with a range of fire-resistant coatings. There are a few different choices and a professional will be able to decide which is best for your particular situation.

  • Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy way to check for the presence of asbestos. Asbestos can be present in both insulation and many different building materials. A professional assessment is needed to determine if asbestos is present and recommend the best way to remove or replace it.

  • Basement moisture can come from a variety of sources including leaks and condensation. If your basement is moist because of building or plumbing leaks these will need to be fixed first. However, basement moisture is often the result of condensation. Condensation can be greatly reduced by proper basement insulation. Spray foam is an excellent choice for basements as it is water-resistant and forms an airtight seal. Arrange a professional assessment to see all of your options.
